I’m using this blog more as a record of what i’ve done rather than as a place to put my thoughts.
I’ve long thought about keeping a diary, but if I did one it would probably not be something that would be for the world to read.
I’ve therefore just kept entries to hobbies, trips and projects that I want to keep a record of. It’s mostly for myself (I’ve already enjoyed re-reading early entries) but if anyone else finds it useful then that’s great.
I’m partly inspired by a comment made by the great diarist, Tony Benn, who said that if you keep a diary you live through life three times. Once at the moment, again when you write about it and lastly when you read the entry.
